Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company products recalled over Listeria concerns

Thousands of ice cream products from Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company have been recalled over Listeria concerns.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reports about 4,183 ice cream gallon cartons and 5,296 pints were made with an ingredient supplied by Aspen Hills, Inc. which may have been contaminated.

The products were distributed to shops and grocery stores across a number of states including Michigan. 

Customers are urged to throw away the products or return them for a refund.
