The Coast Guard is no longer searching for a reported missing swimmer near Belle Isle.
Around 8 p.m., the Coast Guard received multiple calls that said a young boy went underwater, but the people who called were not friends or family.
Also, police say that no family has reported anyone missing, and they called it a mistake.
9 p.m.
Multiple Coast Guard boats and helicopters are near Belle Isle searching for a boy who possibly disappeared in the water.
We're told a young girl reported that she saw a young boy swimming in the water when he went under. Police have not confirmed that someone has gone missing.

According to police, they have not been able to find a family who reports that someone is missing, but they are still taking the search very seriously.

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a "young male" swimmer who went missing while swimming on Belle Isle.
According to the Coast Guard, Detroit police received a report of a swimmer who did not come back up.
Right now, they are searching the swim area on the north side of the island near the Detroit Yacht Club.
