Michigan reports 3,106 new cases of COVID-19, 43 deaths

(WXYZ) — There are 187,995 cases of COVID-19 in Michigan and 7,400 total deaths, the state reported Tuesday.

That's up 3,106 cases and 43 deaths from the day before. The number of deaths announced Tuesday includes 17 deaths identified during a Vital Records review.

Additionally, there are 19,437 probable cases of the virus in the state.

Overall, 121,093 have recovered from the virus, as of Oct. 30.
