BRIGHTON, Mich. (WXYZ) — More individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 after attending services at Brighton Church of Christ, the Livingston County Health Department said.
COVID-19 outbreak traced to Brighton church, all attendees urged to get tested
Initially, officials said 14 unrelated people tested positive for the virus. They reported attending services on October 4, October 7, and October 11.
Now, six more individuals have tested positive; the health department said they attended services on Oct. 18 and during bible study on Oct. 20 and 21.
Individuals who participated in church related events or social activities are also at risk.
The health department has recommended testing for all individuals who attend the church, whether they have symptoms or not.
