A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of southeast Michigan from midnight to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with cold temperatures and 2-4 inches of snow expected for most of the area. Snow drifts could get bigger as blowing snow is a high possibility.
Oakland County road crews were called in at 7 p.m. Monday night to get ready for the storm, and road crews in other counties were expected to be out all night preparing for the sloppy morning commute.
