RIVER ROUGE (WXYZ) — Surveillance footage shows a deadly shooting unfold at a River Rouge gas station on Labor Day.
The gunfire erupted in broad daylight near Visger and Jefferson Road.

A 23 y/o man is dead and the mother of a woman says her daughter was shot with her children in the car.

The video was released by the gas station that shows three gunmen emerge from a Chrysler 300 and fire multiple rounds into a car at a gas pump.
The driver of the vehicle initially drives off but the car rolls into a funeral home across the street. The victim, according to family and friends, was of Alex Minor. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a friend said.
The barrage of bullets also struck a mother who was with her children at the gas station. A bullet hit her in the shoulder, according to her mother.
The mother also said the bullet narrowly missed her grandchild. River Rouge police have not released any details about the deadly shooting. 7 Action News reached out to the mayor's office for comment about the violence in the community. He did not immediately return our call.
