Dearborn police arrested an 18-year-old armed robbery suspect after he allegedly used a handgun to threaten a 7-Eleven clerk and leave with cash.

Terry Dwayne Davis, of Taylor, is charged with armed robbery and felony firearm. He was arraigned Nov. 22 in Dearborn.

The alleged robbery happened on Nov. 14 at a 7-Eleven location on South Telegraph Road in Dearborn.

Police said Davis is connected to similar incidents in neighboring communities.

"Brazen acts of violent crime will not be tolerated in the city of Dearborn and with the assistance of the citizenry, the suspect will be brought to justice," said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad.
