Dearborn police are trying to locate the person who they say robbed a bank in the 21550 block of Oakwood around 3:30 p.m. on August 1.
Police say the suspect, a white female, entered the DFCU Financial bank and passed a note to the teller. She then fled the scene.
No weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.
Police said she was able to get away with cash, but they are not revealing the amount.
“With help from the community, we will identify the suspect, and use all available resources to apprehend this individual,” said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad in a statement.
Police say the bank will be handing over more surveillance video today and they should be able to release a better description of the suspect.
