(WXYZ) — Detroit was named 2019's ninth least healthy city in America, according to a study by WalletHub.
WalletHub compared major U.S. cities across key metrics, ranging from cost of medical visit to fruit and vegetable consumption to fitness clubs per capita.
Detroit ranked particularly low in in amount of mental-health counselors per capita, dietitians and nutritionists per capita, share of physically active adults and running trails per capita.
San Francisco was named the most healthy city, while Brownsville, Texas was named the unhealthiest.
