The Detroit Police Department will kick off the second annual 60 Day Fit Challenge today.
Detroit Police Chief James Craig and Detroit Medical Center CEO Scott Steiner will hold a press conference this afternoon, announcing the start of the event.
It's taking place at 1, at Detroit Public Safety Headquarters.
The challenge aims to improve the physical fitness and overall health of DPD officers and staff.
Last year, hundreds took part in the challenge.
The 60 day challenge will include health screenings and educational sessions that focus on work related health issues.
