Detroit police need your help finding a man who attempted to abduct a teen Monday morning.
It happened on the city's west side.
The 18-year-old was on the way to school when she says a man began chasing her down Beechwood and Allendale streets.
She managed to get away by running inside her home.
Sgt. Michael Woody of Detroit Police said, "She was very scared, you can tell."
She was standing at a bus stop around 6:45 Monday morning when she saw the man running towards her.
"Described as a black male, approximately 6'1" wearing all black," Woody said. "Fearing for her safety, she took off running. She ran quite a distance until she got home."
Police are not sure if the incident is related to any recent attempted abductions on Detroit's west side.
"We are drawing any connection at this point however we don't ever rule those things out," Woody explained. "Obviously we need to get down to the bottom of this. Figure out exactly what his intention was and get him into custody as quickly as we can."
Police are looking for witnesses and asking for your help.
