DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for a suspect wanted in the carjacking of a 60-year-old man on the city's east side.
The car theft happened Jan. 2 at 3:22 p.m. in the 17300 block of Harper. The victim was dropping off friends at the location, and while waiting for their return the suspect approached the victim's white Nissan Altima while on foot.
The suspect showed the victim a gun and ordered him out of the car before fleeing the scene. The suspect took the victim's car eastbound on Harper.
No one was physically hurt during the carjacking.
