DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for a suspect who alleged shot and killed a man during a funeral reception on April 13.
The deadly shooting occurred in the 10000 block of Whittier on the city's east side at around 6 p.m.
According to a release, the suspect, a 42-year-old black man, allegedly got into a verbal altercation with the family member of the victim. No further details were provided about the altercation.
The victim was also 42 years old.
After the shooting, the suspect left the reception and fled in a 2005 silver Cadillac SRX truck with an improper Michigan license plate: DFC-1679.
The suspect is described as stocky build with black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion. Police say he's considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen wearing a black seatshirt pullover with white lining.
