Detroit police have made three arrests in connection with a violent robbery and shooting.
According to investigators, a man was pulled out of his vehicle, robbed and then shot in the back.
It happened around 3:30 Saturday morning near Outer Drive and Ryan on Detroit's east side.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A woman, who was also in the car, was not hurt.
The suspects were arrested Saturday afternoon in Inkster. Police say two of them were out on parole. Investigators discovered the car they were driving was stolen out of Westland.
The victim's stolen items have been recovered.
Police are trying to determine if the suspects are connected to other robberies in Detroit.
