Detroit police are asking for your help identifying and locating a young boy, around 12 years old, who they say may have been abducted.
According to police, officers received a call on Wednesday, Feb. 22 to a possible abduction. We're told once they arrived, they were advised that a boy around the age of 12 came into the establishment with his hands handcuffed in front of him.
Witnesses called 911 but the child ran away before police arrived.
At first, the child said he was playing with friends when he accidentally handcuffed himself, but he later stated that he was kidnapped.
He was last seen in the area of Buckingham and East Warren on the city's east side.
