Two missing children from Detroit who were last seen on Monday are believed to be with their maternal grandmother, police say.

Envi McClin and Montashia Brown are reported to have never returned from taking the trash in the 4300 block of Chrysler near Midtown Detroit.

They are believed to be with Wendy Harris, 53. Police say Harris has also been missing since the children went missing.

Police say the girls have never gone missing in the past.

Envi is 12-years-old. She is 4'11" and weighs around 93 pounds. She has a light brown complexion, brown eyes, and black hair in a single ponytail with a white headband.

She was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, a pink jacket, blue jeans, and pink gym shoes.

Montashia is 9-years-old. She is 4'8" and weighs about 95 pounds. She has a light brown complexion, brown eyes, and black hair in a bun with a red headband.

She was last seen wearing a black and white Mickey Mouse shirt, black stretch pants, and black & white Jordan gym shoes.

Police believe they are in the Flint or Detroit area.

Anyone with information about their current location is asked to call the Detroit Police Department's third Precinct at 313-596-1340.
