A raid at a home on Detroit's east side led to one man being arrested and is connected to an overdose death in the suburbs.
According to police, West Bloomfield and Novi police performed the raid at a home in the 17000 block on Dean, near McNichols and Ryan, on the city's east side
They aren't releasing the name of the suspect, but say the raid is connected to the death of a 26-year-old woman who had a drug overdose in West Bloomfield on Aug. 8. The overdose was from fentanyl-laced heroin.
Michigan state Police assisted with the raid, saying what they did this morning was nothing new.
Police say they plan to release more information at a later date.
