A local charity is on a mission to provide kids in need with a brand new back-to-school wardrobe.
Five hundred kids from Detroit were selected to shop at the back-to-school pop-up store at Munger Elementary-Middle School on the city's west side.
They all had a chance to pick pants, shirts and a winter coat that fit their style. The children also took home backpacks full of school supplies.
More than 200 volunteers pitched in to make this happen. The event was sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women.
