Emergency crews save life of man who overdosed

Posted

Emergency crews are being credited with saving the lives of two brothers who crashed their truck after a reported overdose in Warren on Thursday.

The 33-year-old driver had stopped breathing when a plain-clothed detective pulled him out of the truck and began saving his life.

Other offices were able to get the 32-year-old passenger to wake to wake up after police believe both men overdosed on heroin.

EMS crews administered aid to one of the men and took him away in an ambulance.

The passenger appeared responsive at the scene, was placed in handcuffs and taken into police custody.

The vehicle could be seen off the road. It appears the truck veered off the road and hit a sign.
