DETROIT (WXYZ) — A father who shot his son at a home in Roseville turned the gun on himself and was pronounced dead at a hospital Thursday night around 11:30 p.m., according to police.
The 64-year-old father was reportedly making statements about harming himself and recovered a handgun from the bedroom.
The man's 44-year-old son went into the bedroom to talk with his dad after becoming concerned by his statements.
When the son entered the room, police say the father fired several rounds at him.
The son is in critical condition at this time.
