CANTON, Mich. (WXYZ) — The FBI and Detroit Police are working together to dig up and exhume remains of people at a cemetery in Canton.
Agents began digging at Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Canton on Tuesday morning.
The FBI said they have teamed up with DPD to exhume remains of unidentified people buried decades ago.
Agents say the hope is that with DNA technology, they can bring some families closure and identify the bodies.

Chopper 7 was over the scene which showed agents at several plots throughout the cemetery.
