DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit firefighters battled a massive fire in the area of Junction and West Vernor in southwest Detroit Friday morning.
A firefighter was hurt in the two-alarm fire in two commercial buildings. We're told the firefighter was trying to get inside to two people who were reportedly inside.
Crews never found those people, but the firefighter is expected to be okay.
The fire is now under control, although one of the buildings is completely collapsed.
