(WXYZ) — A Florida politician who made controversial remarks about Detroit Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is getting a public reprimand.
A resolution put together by other commissioners in Hallandale Beach, Florida, reprimands Anabelle Lima-Taub for bigotry.
She posted on Facebook that Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman in Congress, might "become a martyr and blow up Capitol Hill."
Lima-Taub has not apologized and claims her life is in danger.
