On Tuesday, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel charged Galloway with first-degree premeditated murder.
Danielle was last seen on Dec. 2, 2016, at the Raleigh Officentre complex at 10 Mile and Telegraph in Southfield where she worked. She was reportedly supposed to meet a friend the night of December 2, but never showed up. Her body has never been found.
Galloway used to work as a security guard at Stislicki's place of work.
“This young woman had everything to live for,” said Nessel. “Her disappearance more than two years ago has left a hole in her family and they deserve justice. The Farmington Hills Police Department has gone to extraordinary lengths to uncover every piece of evidence available. That evidence is compelling.”
“We are very grateful that the Attorney General's office is taking charge of Danielle’s case,” said the Stislicki family in a news release. “Moving forward with the evidence that has been gathered, we feel our daughter Danielle Ann Stislicki will receive the justice she deserves.”
Galloway will be arraigned at 11 a.m. in Farmington Hills. Watch the arraignment here.
