GARDEN CITY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The woman behind the renowned Garden City Christmas House has passed away.
Marguerite Boyce died on Dec. 16, 2020, according to an obituary by the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. She was 87.
She and her husband Richard Boyce decorated their home for 60 years for the residents of Garden City. The tradition was rooted in their love for each other, family, faith, fellowship and the holiday spirit.
Marguerite was a grandmother of 25 and great-grandmother of 29.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 19 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
