Three adult men, aged 17-18, and one 16-year-old male have been arrested regarding a school shooting threat in the Whitmore Lake Public School district.
A threat had been made in reference to "shooting up" a school building within the district on Tuesday.
Officers from the Northfield Township Police Department deemed the threat to be credible.
Police say all of the arrestees are current or past students of WLPS and a weapon was seized during the course of the investigation.
Whitmore Public Schools are closed Wednesday as a precautionary measure.
