A prayer service was held on Sunday night in honor of the victims in the deadly Kalamazoo shooting rampage.

It took place at Centerpoint Church at 7 p.m. The church is located at 2345 N. 10th St. in Kalamazoo.

Meanwhile, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has ordered all U.S. and Michigan flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the victims.

The order goes into effect on Monday and will remain for six days until Sunday, Feb. 28.

“The shootings are a senseless act of violence that claimed the lives of innocent citizens and injured two others,” Snyder said in a release. “We will lower the flags for six days to honor each of the six who died. Our hearts are broken for the victims’ families and friends, and I join in mourning their loss.”
