DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a shooting that left a grandmother and grandson with serious injuries on the city's west side overnight.
A grandmother and her grandson were both found shot inside a home on Mettetal Street in the area of Schoolcraft and the Southfield Freeway.
7 Action News has been told the 25-year-old grandson is in critical condition, and the 60-year-old grandmother is in temporary serious condition.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear.
The investigation is ongoing.
