More than 60 children boarded a plane and headed to the North Pole on Friday. The children are battling life-threatening illnesses but there wasn't a hint of pain or worry on their faces.

“They forget about being ill and hospitals and doctors and everything. It’s just to make them very happy,” says Madge McGoorty, of The Silverliners.

The Silverliners put on this special flight to the North Pole with some help from Channel 95.5's Mojo in the Morning. Children took photos with Santa, had a few special visits from Elsa and Anna from Disney's Frozen, along with Spiderman and Captain America. Each child also left with a bag full of gifts.

“He’s two years cancer free now and to be able to enjoy this with him is something we didn’t think was possible a couple years ago,” says Nicole Moore, who's son survived Leukemia.

“One child told his father this is the best day of my life. When you hear that it makes you feel so good,” adds McGoorty.
