A woman from Rochester Hills says a Halloween prank could have led to serious injuries.
Rebecca Durham says a full-size recliner disguised by leaves was parked in the middle of Livernois.
Durham says when it is dark, you can hardly make it out.
She almost hit while dropping her son off to school.
"As I'm leaving the gas station, I went down this street and out of nowhere I had to slam on brakes."
"It looked like a practical joke. It was very, very dangerous."
She and neighbors called the sheriff's office, and while she waited for Oakland County deputies to arrive, she helped others avoid the mess too.
"We were kind of directing traffic from hitting it, it was extremely scary and very, very dangerous."
At this point investigators are not sure who is responsible, but Durham doesn't want this prank to happen again.
"I hope the people that did it know there's children and people that could have been injured or killed from this."
Thankfully no one was injured from the prank, but if have any information call the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
