Here's how to get your business ideas heard by Shark Tank casting team

Think your business idea is genius and would take off -- if only you had the right investor?

Well sharpen your pitches because your chance is now.

"Shark Tank," ABC’s reality TV business show, which offers entrepreneurs a chance to make their dreams a reality, is coming to Detroit.

Open calls for business ideas will be held at the Hope Conference Center in Detroit on May 5.

Participants will have a chance to give a one-minute pitch of their business, product or idea to a member of the casting team.

“Come prepared to wow and dazzle,” the show says.

Here’s how you apply:

1. Bring a completed Application packet (Download HERE)
2. Arrive at the Hope Conference Center between 9AM to 11AM, that’s when numbered wristbands will be distributed. Only people with wristbands can pitch.
3. Interviews begin at 10AM.
