A high-speed chase ended with two people taken into custody in Detroit.
Police say speeds reached over 100 miles an hour.
The pursuit began in Westland and ended in Detroit on Evergreen Road near Schoolcraft and I-96.
That chase ending in the front lawn of a home. It appears the driver may have been held against her will.
A woman was in the driver’s seat and a man in the passengers seat during the chase. An unknown object was reportedly being held to her head.
Police now investigating if the woman was forced to speed.
No one was hurt.
The black SUV had Illinois plates. Police are still trying to determine if these are local individuals or people from out of town.
