(WXYZ) — High-temperature records for metro Detroit were broken both days over the weekend, and another record high could fall on Monday.

7 First Alert Meteorologist Kevin Jeanes said we recorded high temperatures of 71° Saturday and 73° on Sunday. That beat the previous records of 70° set in 1916 for Nov. 7 and 71° set in 1915 for Nov. 8.

We're not done yet. The record could be broken on Monday, Nov. 9 as we'll see highs in the mid-70s. The current record is 75° set in 1999, and the record for Nov. 10 is 68° also set in 1999.
