Halloween just passed and retailers already have their eyes on the holiday season. It's the first of November and holiday online shopping deals are already underway.
There was a time that folks thought about holiday shopping after Thanksgiving.
Black Friday has been the unofficial kickoff to the shopping season.
But this year, you can find Black Friday deals starting Tuesday, November 1.
Shopper Kelsey Streur said, "It's not something I want to think of right now. Especially since we just got over Halloween and it's actually nice out so it doesn't feel like the holidays yet."
Amazon and Walmart are coming out with Black Friday deals one day after Halloween.
"We aren't even over with Halloween," said shopper Gina Amara. "That was just last night. So what's the point of hastening the holidays. Life is to short in order to make things come quicker than what they already are."
Some are even calling this trend "Black November."
Consumer Greg Kozikowski explained, "I would like to wait until after Thanksgiving, a little more traditional."
Amazon is kicking off the promotion with different deals of the day.
You can buy anything from electronics to toys and jewelry.
Over at Walmart, they offer a wide range of sales and you can sign to get Black Friday deals directly emailed to you.
Some shoppers, like Tamiko Ball, don't mind getting a jump start.
She said, "I'm getting ready to start. I had to get through Halloween with the kids. Now it's time to start thinking about gifts."
Both Amazon and Walmart have sections dedicated to the online Black Friday deals.
