MACOMB CO., Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera allegedly stealing a cell phone from a fast food restaurant earlier in December.
Macomb County deputies released video on Facebook of the incident that occurred on Dec. 16 at 6:15 p.m.
According to the post, a woman, who is not seen in the video, paid for her food at the location and accidentally left her phone at the register.
When the man behind her in line approached the counter then took the phone. When the woman realized her phone was missing, she returned to the counter, but it was gone. She then called the phone and told police that an unknown man answered.
When the woman requested that he return her phone, he did not.
The suspect is described as a black man. No further identification is provided.
