Metro Detroit drivers concerned about pot holes; repair shops see damage

Posted

Drivers are reaching out to MDOT after noticing more pot holes in the metro Detroit area.

Local auto shops like Downtown Mobile are seeing more drivers come in complaining about pot holes.

Ali Fouar with Downtown Mobile says customers spend up to $1000 a year on getting their tires fixed.

"Just be patient, drive slowly, stay away from the holes, that's the only recommendation we can give to the customers,” Fouar said.

MDOT says you can call their Pothole Hotline at 888-296-4546. If it's on a city street or county road, report it to your city public works department or county road commission.
