(WXYZ) — Update: Just before 1:30 p.m., the SOS said the camera issue was resolved in all but 7 branches (Coldwater, Grand Haven, Hillsdale, Houghton, Newberry, Sturgis and Ypsilanti). Efforts continue to restore camera operability in these locations.
Several Michigan Secretary of State offices are currently unable to perform driver's license and state ID transactions.
The Michigan Department of State says there is a technical issue with the cameras.
Offices are currently working with the vendor to resolve the issue.
