MSP looks to recruit more women into the force

Michigan State Police is stepping up efforts to hire more women on the force.

MSP will host a recruiting seminar for women on March 19 at Schoolcraft College in Livonia from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The event will feature troopers from several specialty units, and provide insight on recruit training, the trooper lifestyle and opportunities for women in law enforcement.
