Students at Ferndale High School entered an entrepreneurship challenge and millionaire businessman Marcus Lemonis awarded the top winners.

About a dozen teams entered and two groups won. The second place team presented plans on how to renovate Ferndale High School. The first place team came up with Park It, an app that would allow homeowners to rent out their driveway during big events.

"Usually you go to a high school and the kids are clowning around and laughing but they were very focused, they were paying attention. It’s a real wide range of kids that go to this school and every single one of them was serious about it,” says Lemonis.

Both winning groups were awarded a 5-day all expense paid trip to Universal Orlando. Lemonis also presented a $10,000 check to Ferndale Public Schools.
