BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Have you seen this 14-week-old Bullmastiff puppy?

MSP says the puppy was taken on July 21 at around 3:15 a.m. Troopers were called to 14800 N Telegraph Rd for a report of a stolen dog.

At the scene, troopers contacted the victim and they advised that their 14-week-old Bullmastiff puppy was stolen from the location.

The puppy is red/brown in color with black ears, black snout and weighs about 25 pounds.

The Michigan State Police Monroe Post is requesting assistance with locating the puppy and identifying the suspect.

Right now, MSP says the suspect is described as a thin built white male that is approximately six feet tall. The suspect was wearing a black track suit, white shoes and a black hat at the time of the offense.

According to troopers, there may be other suspects as well that distracted the other dogs on the property while the original suspect took the puppy. The suspect used a lighter to break the zip ties on the gate and gain access to the puppy.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact troopers at 734-242-3500.
