Everyday is National "Something" Day. March 14 is Pi Day, Napping and Potato Chip Day.

In mathematics circles, people celebrate Pi Day but others celebrate with pie.

Sam Wood owns Dangerously Delicious Pies at the Third Street bar in Midtown.

"Our pies are all made by hand," he said. "The crust, the ingredients, the mixes, everything is made with love from the heart."

If you don't like sweets, you can still celebrate with a pie!

Wood explained, "Meat pies, savory pies for dinner and what not, so that's the thing that really separates from the competition."

Uncle Ray's is a potato chip company celebrating with new flavors.

"We introduced 5 new flavors this week. Maple bacon, pepperoni pizza, cheesy garlic bread, mesquite BBQ and buffalo wing," company representative Dennis DaPra explained. "80% of our employees are residents of the city of Detroit and we take great pride in that."

Dr. Thomas Roth is on the Henry Ford Hospital's Sleep Study Team. He said, today is good day to nap because it's National Napping Day.

Dr. Roth says it's important to get a full 8-hours of sleep a day, even if you have to nap during the day or make up for it on weekends.

"2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is a great time to nap." But, Roth added, "9 a.m. to 10 a.m. is a terrible time to nap. 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. is a terrible time to nap."

Beware, not getting enough sleep may have you reaching back for the junk food!

Roth added, "There is a correlation between not getting enough sleep and the urge to eat."
