Pipeline in Pennsylvania explodes, catches fire

A pipeline exploded Friday morning in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and at least one person was burned.

That victim was air-lifted to a medical center.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection was called to the scene, according to WTAE. Businesses around the explosion site were evacuated.

The pipeline is owned by Texas Eastern, WTAE reports. The cause of the blast is unknown.

Viewers of the local TV station reported feeling shock-waves from the explosion.
