The Petland store at Twelve Oaks Mall is the target of another lawsuit, claiming a sick puppy put a man in the hospital.
According to the lawsuit, a beagle-pug mix from the store infected the Northville man with drug-resistant campylobacter.
The lawsuit links it to a CDC investigation tying Petland stores to an outbreak in January.
Two other lawsuits involve more than two dozen customers.
Petland has said puppy health is a top priority and the allegations are baseless.
