A story for the ages, that’s what Judy Goodman of Clarkston will be telling her friends and family after her whirlwind weekend to Los Angeles to attend the Season Finale of American Idol.
Goodman won an all-expense paid trip for two to LA to see the epic finale through a contest on WXYZ.
And she documented her trip in photos.

Goodman made a family affair out of the winning prize. She took her daughter Stacie along for the show, and flew out a day early to visit her son, Brad, who lives in Manhattan Beach.
“What a blast! Never in my lifetime would I ever think I would see something like this! Thank you WXYZ for everything!” she wrote in an email along with dozens of photos.
