Police asking for public's help locating missing Livonia man with dementia

LIVONIA (WXYZ) — Livonia police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Livonia man who was recently diagnosed with dementia.

Joseph John Willim, 69, left his home between midnight and 5 a.m. on April 30 and hasn't returned home.

Willim was last seen wearing blue jeans over his pajama pants, a black jacket and black slip on shoes. He was driving his 2011 red Ford F-150 with Michigan license plate CNJ517. The truck he was driving is a standard cab with a short bed.

According to a release, he is not taking any medications for dementia at this time.

Willim is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has hazel eyes and salt and pepper beard.
