Detroit police say they are at University Prep Science & Math High School this morning following up on a text message threat that was reported to police last evening.

Police say they were directed to the school at about 4 p.m. Sunday on a report from a parent that their minor had received a text message indicating that the school was going to blow up on Monday.

Responding officers found the building to be secure with no apparent problems.

Officers, canine and evidence techs are back on the scene right now. The school is not evacuated.
