Police looking for dog taken out of family's yard in Dearborn Heights

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Dearborn Heights police are looking for a dog who was taken out of the yard of her owners.

"Love" is a border collie retriever who is trained for a child with autism, police say. She is missing from the area of Roosevelt and Powers.

The dog was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Friday and has a pink collar with the owner's information on it. Police say the owner believes someone took the dog out of the yard.

Anyone who has seen the dog is asked to call police at 313-277-6770 ext. 3 to report it.
