MILFORD, Mich. (WXYZ) — A robbery was reported at a Taco Bell restaurant in Milford on Christmas Eve.
Police say around 7 a.m., they responded to an armed robbery call at the restaurant located at General Motors Road.
A 911 call from a worker indicated that two men entered the restaurant and implied they had guns. Police say no weapons were brandished or seen. The suspects came across the counter and demanded cash.
Police say approximately $200 cash was removed from register drawers. The suspects then left the building through the front door, running away along General Motors Road. Police say the then entered a dark colored older model SUV.
Both suspects wore ski masks with the upper portion of their faces exposed, police say. Police describe the first suspect as a heavyset man approximately 50 years old . The second is a younger man in his 20s.
There were two employees inside the Taco Bell at the time and no patrons.
