Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, Wayne State University Police Chief Anthony Holt and Detroit Police Chief James Craig joined together to announce charges against Raymond Durham in the fatal shooting of Wayne State Sgt. Collin Rose.

Durham, 61, was arraigned on the charges. A competency exam was also ordered.

Rose was shot in the head on Nov. 22, 2016 near Wayne State. He stopped to investigate a man on a blue mountain bike.

In March, a suspect in the shooting of two Detroit police officers was also considered a "prime suspect" in Rose's murder. DNA evidence linked Ryamond Durham to the murder of Sgt. Rose.
