---------------

Police are investigating a stranger danger incident reported in New Baltimore Monday evening.

On Oct. 29 around 4 p.m., a 12-year-old girl reported walking northeast-bound on Green Street near a hair salon, when a masked man tried to grab her hand.

The girl was able to pull away, run into a nearby business and call a family member, according to police.

Officers have described the suspect as a white man in his 40's to 60's, about 6-foot tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, over-sized black sweat pants, dirty white Nike shoes and a winter pull up mask. Police say the man was also described as looking like he could be "homeless."

No vehicle was seen or has been reported at this time, according to police.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call New Baltimore Police at (586) 725-2181.
